My stay at this stunning chateau was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed like a part of the family. I was greeted with an aperitif and delicious biscuits, and given a tour of my glorious bedroom with its shuttered windows and luxurious four-poster bed. The castle itself has a real 'wow factor' and is situated in a beautiful rural setting. The warm welcome extended throughout my stay, and the home-cooked dinner served on a grand table set with crystal and family silver was simply exquisite. I indulged in a four-course meal featuring duck, cheese, and a decadent chocolate fondant. Breakfast was equally delightful. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough for its chateau experience with a friendly touch. Just go!

The hotel's decoration and general areas were exquisite, with a touch of elegance and charm. The beautiful antique furnishings and classic French decor added a sense of grandeur to the entire property. As a senior woman, I especially appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The spacious hallways, well-lit common areas, and comfortable seating made it easy for me to navigate and relax.
I would suggest having handrails or grab bars in the bathrooms for better support and safety for senior guests. The children working there were helpful, but having these additional amenities would make the hotel even more suitable for a memorable vacation for older individuals.

Quaint and charming B&B, with the best homemade breakfast. Free bikes and antique furnishings. A great spot for wine lovers to explore the wine cellars! But oh, how I loved the remote location!

Nestled in the heart of the idyllic French countryside, this stunning manor provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable weekend away. The warm and welcoming hosts went above and beyond, making every effort to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was divine, offering an array of fresh and locally-sourced foods. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil surroundings, which made for a truly relaxing experience.
The only minor downside was the location, as it was slightly remote and not within walking distance of any nearby towns or attractions. However, this was easily remedied by a short drive or taxi ride.

We recently enjoyed our romantic escape in a breathtaking 16th-century manor surrounded by stunning landscapes. We were welcomed wholeheartedly by the hosts with a lovely drink and an inviting atmosphere. The owners lent us bikes to wander through idyllic towns along the river with numerous chateaux and cathedrals. Breakfast was delightful with a mouth-watering homemade jam and several options to choose from. We also indulged in a five-course dinner with local fresh ingredients. The room was spacious with a great panorama of the fields and forest.
The wi-fi signal was infrequent, so if you need to work or use your phone, it can be a challenging aspect. The location is a little remote, car or taxi needed to go around nearby towns, which can be an issue if you want to get a feel for local life.
